Bio:


Jeanne Ciravolo is an award winning figurative artist and portrait painter who has exhibited nationally in group shows and in a solo exhibition in 2014 in Miami, Florida. In 2006 she was a finalist in the Portrait Society of America’s International Portrait Competition and was profiled in International Artist Magazine. Jeanne’s pastel Kirk was selected for inclusion in The Pastel Society of America at Forty at The Butler Institute of American Art, curated by director Dr. Louis A. Zona. In 2011 she received an Honorable Mention in the 12th Annual Pastel 100 Competition of the Pastel Journal, and was a finalist in the Artist’s Magazine Annual Competition in 2013. Recently Jeanne was commissioned to create a portrait of Beatrix Farrand by documentary filmmaker Karyl Evans, for use in her new documentary film The Life and Gardens of Beatrix Farrand. In the summer of 2018 she was an artist in residence at the Byrdcliffe Guild in Woodstock, New York. Jeanne’s commissioned portraits can be found in the collection of the Connecticut Appellate Court, the Superior Court of New Haven, the Connecticut Hospice and Easter Seals Goodwill Industries among other public and private collections.
